In light of the UN Secretary General's "Warning Systems for All" campaign, our "Detection, Alerts and Warning Systems" symposium on June 16th at 9-11 am PT aims to review issues, solutions, and best practices with these systems to maximize their accuracy, effectiveness, coverage, and accessibility.  We have an excellent slate of speakers for what promises to be a world-class event.

This free event will feature simultaneous translation in English, Spanish, and American Sign Language.

The ARISE-US conference aims to bring together private sector firms, government, academia, and nonprofit organizations to engage in discussions on how to build effective community disaster resilience. Attendees will work to improve disaster risk reduction practices through focused examination of cross-sector cooperation and collaboration issues.

The AEC industry focuses on designing and building high-performance, resilient facilities that save money, enhance lives, and promote sustainability.

The Problem: Climate change is increasing natural hazards, threatening our built environment. We must move away from outdated building practices and design for the future.

The Solution: We need resilient infrastructure to ensure our communities are sustainable for current and future generations.

The RDC meets via Zoom on the first Tuesday of each month from 3:00-4:00 PM ET.
